Here you'll find the lineup in the Shiva tent.

Shiva is the archetype of the king of yogis, fascinated by the source of consciousness within his own soul and therefore completely immune to the temptations of the world. His devotees are usually inspired by Jñāna Yoga, the path of knowledge and the experience of all-oneness.

Shiva is depicted as an ascetic, his body smeared with ash, his hair matted, and from the middle of his hair springs the Gangā. The crescent moon is his forehead jewel, rosaries and snakes his adornment. Further symbols are the trident, the hourglass drum, and the lingam, symbol of creative power.

He is also the king of dancers, and his wild dance heralds the dissolution of the created world.

Basic mantra: Oṃ namaḥ Śivāya |

Extended mantra:

ॐ ॐ नमः शिवाय सदाशिवाय सशिवाय परमशिवाय ॥
Om oṃ namah śivāya, sadāśivāya, saśivāya, paramaśivāya ||

Bow to Shiva, the ever kind one, who is goodness itself, the highest salvation.

Beginning of a hymn about Śiva's mantra

nāgēndra-hārāya tri-lōcanāya
bhasmāṅga-rāgāya mahēśvarāya |
nityāya śuddhāya dig-ambarāya
tasmai na-kārāya namaḥ śivāya ||

Before him who wears the king of snakes as a neck ornament, before the three-eyed one, whose body is coloured with ash, the great lord, eternal, pure, clothed in the directions of the sky, before this one (whose mantra begins with) "na", before Śiva, a bow.
