Radha and Krishna represent the archetype of the divine pair of lovers. This archetype builds on the experience of the intense feeling of love between two people. This feeling is used to reach a higher spiritual level.

Krishna's attributes are the peacock feather and the bamboo flute. With his flute playing he delights the cowherd girls, whose leader is Rādhā. 

Krishna is also the divine teacher of the yogic wisdom passed down in the Bhagavad Gītā.

A basic mantra:

ॐ राधे कृष्णाय नमः ॥
Oṃ Rādhe Kṛṣṇāya namaḥ ||
Om, oh Rādhā, homage to Krishna!

Verses dedicated to Rādhā and Krishna:

tavāsmi rādhikā-nātha,
karmaṇā manasā girā |
kṛṣṇa-kānte tavaivāsmi,
yuvām eva gatir mama ||

Yours am I, protector of Rādhā, in deed, thought and voice; [and you] oh beloved of Krishna, [also] yours am I. You both are my goal.

yo ‘ham mamāsti yat kiṃcid,
iha loke paratra ca |
tat sarvaṃ bhavator adya,
caraṇeṣu mayārpitam ||

Whatever I am, and whatever belongs to me, in this world and beyond, all of it may today be offered by me at the feet of you both.
